“To attract the attention of the authorities, start working to solve public problems as if there is no power”: Chairman of the Perm Civil Chamber Igor Averkiev held a lesson at the School of Public Comptroller

On December 7, the second lesson of the School of Public Comptroller took place. The lesson was devoted to the basics of public control in Russia, it was conducted by the chairman of the Perm Civil Chamber Igor Averkiev.

Igor Averkiev is a well-known public figure and human rights activist. He participated in the development of the law on civilian control in the Perm Territory and initiated the creation of the Perm Civil Chamber in 1996. The speaker asked the participants not to confuse the civil chamber with the public. The Perm Civil Chamber is a resource center that supports initiative groups and non-profit organizations. It helps them move from a socially significant idea to its immediate implementation: it provides both intellectual and material resources.
