9 March, 2010 year. Representative of INGO “Committee against Torture” under Regional public organization “Human being and Law” Dmitriy Yalikov began its work in the Chechen Republic, which will last three weeks.

Dmitriy Kazakov (“Committee against Torture”, Nizhny Novgorod) and Roman Veretennikov (Fund “Mothers in support of the detainees, indictees and convicts”, Krasnodar) are also members of the Joint Mobile Group.

Joint Mobile Group of Russian public organizations has been working on the territory of the Chechen Republic since November 2009. Lawyers are investigating citizens’ complaints, the allegations of torture, abduction and notorious murders in this Russian region.
